Spoilers Of The North is a 1947 adventure film directed by Richard Sale and starring Paul Kelly, Lorna Gray, and Evelyn Ankers. The movie is set in the Yukon region of Canada during the Klondike Gold Rush. Wagons are being ambushed and robbed by a notorious bandit known as "The Polka Dot Bandit", and it's up to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to put a stop to the robberies.

The film follows Mountie Sergeant Bruce (Paul Kelly) as he tries to capture the Polka Dot Bandit and put an end to his crimes. He is assisted by Jean (Lorna Gray), a woman with a mysterious past who becomes a suspect in the robberies. Along the way, they are aided by Edie (Evelyn Ankers), the owner of a saloon, who has her own reasons for wanting to catch the bandit.

The plot of the movie is both action-packed and full of twists and turns. As Sergeant Bruce and Jean get closer to catching the Polka Dot Bandit, they uncover a web of corruption and betrayal that reaches all the way to the top levels of the Canadian government. The film also features stunning scenery from the Canadian wilderness, and some daring stunts involving horses and wagons.

One of the highlights of the movie is the performance of Paul Kelly as Sergeant Bruce. Kelly brings a strong sense of authority and determination to the role, and he makes a convincing Mountie. Lorna Gray is also excellent as Jean, bringing a mix of toughness and vulnerability to the character. Evelyn Ankers, as Edie, adds a touch of humor to the film and provides a welcome contrast to the seriousness of the other characters.

The film is also notable for its use of Technicolor, which was still a rare and expensive technology in the late 1940s. The color adds a richness and depth to the movie that black and white couldn't have captured. The film is also well-directed, with a good balance of action and drama, and a sense of pacing that keeps the viewer engaged.

Overall, Spoilers Of The North is a solid and entertaining adventure movie that delivers on both thrills and drama. The performances are excellent, the scenery is breathtaking, and the story is engaging. It's a film that's sure to please fans of classic adventure movies, and it's one that is well worth watching today.
