Stealing Harvard is a comedic movie about an individual who decides he must turn to a life of crime. Why does he turn to a life of crime? He does so under a fairly honorable pretense: he is interested in financing his niece's education at Harvard. There are various plots and subplots going on but this is meant to be a screwball comedy. One subplot involves the main character who not only wants to finance his niece's education but also wants to please his girlfriend who wants to put a downpayment on a house. Overall he needs a large amount of money in order to do all of these things. First of all, he needs $30,000 for the down payment on the house and then he needs money for tuition, room, and board for his niece at Harvard.
