Launched in 2006, The Hunt for Eagle One is an American action film that takes place in the Philippines. Directed by Brian Clyde and produced by Roger Corman, Cirio Santiago, and Amy Searles, The Hunt for Eagle One airs for approximately 88 minutes. The plot involves a team of U.S. Marines who are dispatched to rescue a captured U.S. Marine Commander and a Filipino Major while preventing the local Al-Qaeda supported rebels from letting loose their biochemical weapons. After successfully landing on the shores of the Philippines, the team of U.S. Marines start to prepare for battle against the native rebels. While carrying out a custom fly-by, a helicopter boarded by several Filipino Marines is shot off the air by the local rebels. Two of the helicopter's passengers, Captain Jennings and Major Aguinaldo, survive the crash and escape the scene while attempting to flee from the rebels who are running after them. Soon after, a rescue team is sent to extract Jennings and Aguinaldo, yet is also shot at by AA fire. Lieutenant Daniel and his rescue squad continue on foot to look for Jennings and Aguinaldo. Unfortunately, Jennings and Aguinaldo are apprehended and taken to the rebel's base. There, Jennings attempts to escape, yet is immediately captured. The next morning, Aguinaldo is killed by the rebel's commander. They take Jennings to their main base and force her to send a message to the U.S. that their troops must evacuate the Philippine shores. Jennings refuses thus getting tortured by the local rebels. Meanwhile, the rescue squad reaches the village only to learn that the rebels have already gone with Jennings to their main base. After engaging in combat and killing numerous rebels, the rescue squad gets intertwined with Philippine soldiers who join them in fighting the remainder of the rebel force in the main base. They finally find Jennings and extract her from the area.
