- 1 hr 31 min
Samuel Keenan is a decorated Navy Seal sent to the U.S. Embassy of Moldavia as its new Security Attach Attaché. Upon arriving, he learns that the country is dealing with a civil war. At the embassy, he is deputized by Ambassador George Norland. The civil war began when the U.S. install a new government, led by a new president, Yuri Amirev. While Amirev seeks Moldavian democracy, a Communist faction under Alexei Kirilov, a former Moldavian dictator, starts a riot at Amirev's palace. While the palace guard fires upon insurgents without orders, the communists rush the palace. Keenan offers to bring Amirev tot he embassy, but things go poorly and a firefight begins. By the time Keenan returns, fifty Americans, including his girlfriend, have been taken hostage and the insurgents plan on destroying the palace and claiming Amirev by force. Furthermore, Norland is slain by a Communist rocket. With only 15 U.S. Marines, a paper-pusher from the CIA, limited ammo, and his martial arts skills, Keenan plans on defending the embassy until reinforcements, several hours away, can show. With the insurgents primed to strike and too little time, Keenan must do whatever he can to rescue the hostages.
