"Blessed" is a 2004 British horror film directed by Simon Fellows and starring Heather Graham and James Purefoy. The film begins with telling the story of the Howards, a young working class couple desperately trying to have a baby. When the wife, Samantha, is diagnosed as infertile, their hopes are crushed. In addition, they cannot afford medical treatments that could possibly help her conceive a child. At their wit's end, the couple turns to the Spiritus Research Clinic, a few hours from their home. However, the couple is unaware of the dark, sickening intentions of the staff at the clinic.
