Watch The King Maker

A Portuguese solider named Fernando de Gama is shipwrecked and barely makes it alive to the shore, which happens to be on the coast of Siam. He is soon captured and taken to Ayutthaya to be sold as a slave. He briefly escapes after being placed on the auction block and meats Maria, a beautiful woman who takes an instant liking to him. After Fernando is recaptured, Maria buys him and sets him free. However when she takes him home to meet her father, Phillippe, Fernando recognizes him as the man who murdered his father.

Before Fernando can get his revenge, he is forced to join the army of King Chairacha. In battle he and a Thai solider named Tong save the king's life and earn his gratitude, being made his bodyguards. After an assassination attempt against the king is foiled, Tong and Fernando are put in charge of hunting down the culprits and saving the king's life.
