"The League of Gentlemen" is a British crime drama based on the novel of the same name by John Boland. In it, a colonel who has been forced into retirement recruits similarly disgruntled officers for a special job. The operation in question is a bank robbery, and both the colonel and his second-in-command within the group plan to use the military backgrounds of the gang's members to their advantage.
