The Living is a horror movie that follows some of the last people on Earth. A strange event has destroyed much of the planet. Worse, it's also twisted and mangled the DNA of most of the world's population. Most normal people have turned into crazed monsters overnight. Only a small handful of people have managed to escape the catastrophe unharmed and unchanged. These survivors hear of a small sanctuary where normal people can find some measure of safety and security. They begin a long trek to safety. But along the way they're continually confronted with the shambling remains of the world's populace.
