In this action and adventure science fiction fantasy, King Louis XIV is constantly searching for the secret to immortality. Toward this effort, he manages to capture a mermaid for the purpose of stealing the creature's life force. But the ultimate success of his plans is jeopardized when the daughter he had out of wedlock discovers the mermaid in captivity.
