- 1 hr 40 min
The Omega Code was released in 1999 by director Robert Marcarelli. The film begins by showing a mysterious Rabbi Rostenburg translating code from the bible on to his laptop. While working on the code he is shot and killed by an assassin who is later revealed to be an important character in the film. After he assassinates Rostenburg, he flees and the film skips to another scene. The film does some skipping between characters different story lines such as when it introduces Cassandra Barashe and Dr. Gillian Lane on a talk show discussing the meaning of the Old Testament in the Bible. After his segment and discussion of the Bible and it's meaning, he returns home to celebrate his daughter's birthday. Later on the story focuses more on Stone Alexander (Michael York) while he is speaking at a peace ceremony in Rome about his work in Africa feeding the hungry with water and food wafers as a good deed, viewers learn the identity of the man in the beginning of the film who killed Rostenburg. This man known as Dominic (Michael Ironside) is also Stone’s apprentice. Skipping to three and a half years later, Lane discovers Stone has been using the code which is also called the 3-D study of the Bible which is believed to have a prophetic message. The code itself is worth a lot to the world of religion and those who believe in the Bible holding this desired code. Stone at one point in the film does become possessed by the devil in order to finish with his master plan to steal the code and use it for answers, but with the help of two prophets, Satan as Stone may not be able to finish their evil plan.
