Watch The Ryan White Story

The Ryan White Story is a made for TV movie which aired on ABC in 1989. The movie is based on a true story about Ryan White, a boy who has AIDS and made national attention when his rights were violated. When Ryan was younger, he needed a blood transfusion when he was diagnosed as a hemophiliac. The blood was contaminated with the AIDS virus and he was expelled from his middle school unjustly. With the controversy, he and his family face discrimination from the community. The family hired a high power lawyer and sued the school system for his rights to return back to school.
