Add to Watchlist

Dr. John Watson takes Sherlock Holmes to Vienna, Austria, to see psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud in order to help Holmes with his cocaine addiction and delusions. While Holmes is recovering he manages to foil a kidnapping plot involving another Freud patient, and he helps avert a war in Europe. Nicol Williamson portrays Holmes and Robert Duvall is Watson in this satisfying story that actually was not written by Holmes originator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Nicholas Meyer penned this imitation in 1974.
