Tiger Cage 2 is about the story of a man named Dragon Yau, who is an ex-police officer who has a bad temper. His attitude has gotten him in quite a bit of trouble with not only his wife, but with his employers. One day, Dragon visits his lawyer's office where he witnesses a robbery involving robbers stealing a suitcase of money as well as a murder. However, he manages to meet up with his lawyer, Mandy Chang. Dragon tells Mandy that he is trying to run from the police who think he committed the murder. Unfortunately, both Dragon and Mandy must form an alliance with one of the bad guys that was involved with the murder named David, who was betrayed by his gang.
