Watch Tolerantia

Tolerantia the silent, animated short film opens on a thawing prehistoric man freeing himself at the end of an ice age. Driven to create, he forces himself to move a large block into place. Then another. Then another. The audience can’t see why until his creation begins to reveal itself. Then, as he stands on top of his newly made pyramid he sees another. A different man has made an identical structure with a slightly different symbol positioned on top, and this superficial difference compels the men to destroy, rather than create or respect their own creations.
