A movie that will grab your complete attention from beginning to end, with all the desired effects required for an absolutely outstanding motion picture. The erotic, defiant behaviorism of women and their ability to be able to choose for themselves, begins to surface in this 1988 film, produced by Zalman King. It tops the list of sensual thrillers, and inspired the birth of the television series of the same name. Two Moon Junction incorporates an all star cast, including Louise Fletcher, Burl Ives, Sherilyn Fenn, Kristy McNichol, and introducing as a rough and tumble Carney, Richard Tyson. Tyson, who on a scale of desirable male stud hotness of one to ten, would be a 20, and makes for a steamy, intriguing production that should not be missed. A beautiful, restless, debutante, and heir to the State of Alabama's Senatorial empire, April Delongpre, played by Sherilyn Fen, is about to be married to one of the local's finest family's sons, Edward Fairchild, played by Martin Hewitt. April is having second thoughts about what smells of prearranged expectations, organized by her very influential Grandmother, Belle Delongpre, excellently played by the great Louise Fletcher. Being the stubborn, rebellious and adventurous little minx she is, April begins to devise a plan to disrupt the entire arrangement, and turn things around to suit herself. While her fiance Edward is away on business, the wanton April becomes deeply infatuated by the wandering carnival roustabout, Perry, perfectly played by Richard Tyson. He takes on some yard work for Belle, for extra money and thus April and Perry's paths cross. Their attraction is so apparent, Grandmother Belle sets out with the local Sheriff, Earl Hawkins, portrayed by the incomparable Burl Ives, to have the sensuous Perry run out of town on a rail, as soon as can possibly be arranged! April, much like her Grandmother, has her own ideas of how to handle the building dilemma, and takes matters into her own hands, solving the problem in a totally surprising and shrewd manner.
