"Vendredi soir," translated from the French language as "Friday Night," is a dramatic film from 2002. Prior to moving in with her beau, Laure decides to spend some time with friends and winds up locked in traffic from a strike by the Parisian transit authority. After catching a recommendation on the radio of taking up a carpool, she decides to offer a ride to Jean after she notices him off the street. Chemistry quickly bubbles up between the two strangers, chemistry that leads them into checking out a hotel room for the night.
