This heart-warming film is an original movie with several unusual characters. Dabney Coleman stars as Stewart McBain, a very successful businessman who owns a demolition business. His grown children make fun of him when protesters stop the destruction of an old house and he is ridiculed on television. He gives each of his spoiled offspring a sum of money and kicks them out of his home. They all go to live in the old house that was supposed to be destroyed. To help keep afloat, they take in an unusual array of four boarders, all of whom add even more heart to the story.
