This film, directed by director, actor and poet, Sion Sono (Love Song, Suicide Club, Cold Fish), is a Japanese action, grindhouse parody. It's original title was, Why is Hell so Bad? but was changed during translation for western audiences. The plot follows a wacky, reckless film crew whose director wishes to make a proper big budget action film at any cost. He get's this chance when he falls into the company of a dangerous underground mob, whose boss commissions him to make a big budget action film just like the director wanted. There is only one catch, the mob boss insists that all the violence in the film must be real.
