12:00 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. is the first episode of the explosive action-packed television series, 24: Legacy. The series follows the thrilling life of the elite squad of the American Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), as they navigate through dangerous waters of national security, terrorism, and politics.

In this episode, we are introduced to the main character, former Army Ranger, Eric Carter (Corey Hawkins). He, along with his squad, spent six months on a highly classified mission, which has left them targets of a notorious terrorist group. Eric seeks the help of Rebecca Ingram (Miranda Otto), who was the former National Director of CTU, to help him stake his claim to keep his life and that of his wife, Nicole (Anna Diop) and troubled brother Isaac (Ashley Thomas), safe.

However, as the day progresses Erick starts to worry that the terrorists have found his location, which forces him to seek emergency medical care from CTU. Meanwhile, Rebecca, who is now married to Senator John Donovan (Jimmy Smits), plans to unveil her new life outside of politics. Little does she know, her past with CTU will catch up to her, and her decision to invite her former colleagues to the event becomes costly.

As the episode unfolds, we see Eric and his wife Nicole in a dangerous chase as they try to leave their hiding location and move to safety. This is where we start to see the piece-by-piece unravelling of the show's trademark real-time, high stakes, and adrenaline-filled thrill.

We also get to meet other interesting characters in the show. Andy Shalowitz (Dan Bucatinsky) is Rebecca's loyal former chief of staff, who is forced to pick up his old job to help her with an unfolding national security crisis. CTU's Director Keith Mullins (Teddy Sears) who makes hard choices in the wake of grave danger, which has uncovered another terrorist plot, and Donovan's campaign manager Naseri (Oded Fehr), is being blackmailed by a faceless entity.

Through all this, as the clock ticks down, the tension and urgency never wanes, and the intensity only increases. Will Eric Carter and his loved ones escape the rampaging terrorists hunting them down? Will Rebecca's past with CTU return to haunt her? Will Keith Mullins make the right choices to protect the nation? And will the other characters reveal dangerous secrets that might put everyone in peril?
