Ep 4. 3:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.

As with each additional hour that passes, so too does the intensity of the action increase in season one episode four of 24: Legacy. This episode, titled 3:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M., sees the action pick up almost immediately from where the last episode leaves off; with Eric's life in yet another heart-pounding moment of danger as he remains in contact with the terrorists who have stolen the devastatingly powerful devices known as "biological triggers."

The majority of the episode is focused on the complex negotiation process as Eric and the CTU team try to obtain the hostages currently being held by the terrorists. Among them is the former head of the RNC and senator, John Donovan’s campaign manager, who is being held in exchange for the release of one of their own. Negotiations quickly take a turn for the worse, however, as tensions rise and time runs out.

Meanwhile, the mysteries surrounding Nicole, Eric’s sister-in-law, continue to deepen as a man with an unsteady and concerning history appears to be following her. The truth regarding this man’s identity leaves viewers reeling and desperate for answers, raising more questions regarding the motives of everyone involved in the central narrative.

Yet, as the plot thickens and the danger deepens, Eric finds himself placed in even more heightened danger, once again tracking down the same people who are threatening innocent civilians. He races against time to prevent the terrorists from fulfilling their deadly intentions, making it clear that no one is safe and that tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Tensions mount and events unfold rapidly, with the writing taking each and every second seriously, propelling the action forward. The characters are all complex and nuanced as they navigate the stressful situations at hand, adding to the depth of the episode and making it one to remember. And as the episode heads toward its shocking conclusion, everything falls into a state of chaos, promising even more action and intrigue in the next chapter of the show.
