Following this lead, the cats race towards the lake hoping to find the lost puppy. When they reach the lake, they discover the little puppy caught in a trap, and he can't escape. The trap's owner is none other than a mean-spirited bulldog who wants to keep the puppy for himself and prevent him from participating in Bartolo's dog show.

The cats, determined to save the puppy, quickly devise a plan to rescue him from the bulldog's trap. They use their unique talents and work together, dodging the bulldog's advancing attacks and allow one of their members to get close enough to free the puppy from the trap. The plan works, and the puppy is saved.

With the little puppy safe in their paws, the cats race back to the dog show in time for the puppy to perform his act. Bartolo is immensely grateful to the cats for rescuing the little ball of fur. The cats enjoy their reward of a front-row seat to the dog show, where they get to see the little pup perform magic tricks and run through agility hurdles.
