Ep 3. Episode 3

Chen Xiaoxi is heartbroken over Jiang Chen’s rejection and decides to go to a school dance with Wu Bo Song instead, hoping to make Jiang Chen jealous. At the dance, Xiaoxi and Bo Song put on a passionate performance that attracts the attention of the entire school. Jiang Chen, who had initially decided not to attend the dance, changes his mind and shows up with his friend Liu Bai.

Upon seeing Xiaoxi dancing with Bo Song, Jiang Chen grows jealous and decides to make Xiaoxi jealous as well by dancing with Liu Bai. Meanwhile, Lin Jingxiao, who has a crush on Bo Song, grows jealous of Xiaoxi and starts spreading rumors about her to the other students.

As the dance comes to a close, Xiaoxi runs outside and finds Jiang Chen waiting for her. They talk about their feelings and Jiang Chen finally opens up to her about why he rejected her. Xiaoxi is pleased to finally have some closure, but her happiness is short-lived when she finds out that Lin Jingxiao has been spreading rumors about her.

Despite this setback, Xiaoxi refuses to let the rumors get to her and decides to focus on her studies instead. She enlists the help of Jiang Chen, who is a top-performing student, to tutor her in math. Xiaoxi’s determination and hard work pay off when she is able to solve a complicated math problem on her own.

Meanwhile, Bo Song confronts Lin Jingxiao about spreading rumors and convinces her to apologize to Xiaoxi. Xiaoxi forgives Lin Jingxiao and the two become friends.

As the episode comes to an end, Xiaoxi and Jiang Chen grow closer as they spend more time together studying. Xiaoxi begins to realize that her feelings for Jiang Chen are still strong, but she is unsure if Jiang Chen feels the same way.
