The Rosary is the sixteenth episode of the American drama television series A Million Little Things, which was aired on February 21, 2019. This episode was directed by James Roday and written by Lizzy Weiss.

This episode centered around Gary, one of the show's main character, who recently got diagnosed with breast cancer. In this episode, he attends his first chemotherapy session. Meanwhile, his friends Maggie and Regina struggle with supporting him as they process their own feelings about his illness.

The episode began with Gary, sitting in a hospital room, staring at the IV pole that will soon be administering chemotherapy drugs into his body. He is nervous about the whole process and is waiting for Maggie, his closest friend and confidante, to arrive at the hospital. Maggie shows up, understandably nervous, with a bag of snacks for Gary. As they talk, they vent their frustrations about their situations. Maggie admits that her own cancer diagnosis has made it difficult for her to support Gary without projecting her own feelings onto him.

At the same time, Regina, one of Gary's other close friends, is struggling to write a speech for her restaurant's soft opening. She's preoccupied with thoughts of Gary's cancer and, in particular, with the unfairness of his diagnosis. Regina is angry that Gary is facing such a difficult and dangerous illness, even as he has just started to rebuild his life after a much-needed break-up from his ex-girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Eddie and Delilah are dealing with the fallout from their secret affair. They both feel guilty and are trying to figure out how to move forward now that their feelings for each other are out in the open. The tension between them is palpablebut remains unaddressed.

As the episode progresses, the focus turns back to Gary as he begins chemotherapy. After his treatment, Gary admits to his friends that he's scared for his life - a feeling that everyone seems to share. Regina's speech at the opening of her restaurant serves as a catalyst for the friends to face their deepest fears and give one another the support they need to survive in the face of this new challenge.

Overall, The Rosary is a powerful episode that explores the bonds of friendship and the strength that comes from supporting one another through tough times. The characters are realistically portrayed, with all the messy emotions and conflicting feelings that come with dealing with a cancer diagnosis. While there are moments of tension and conflict, the episode ultimately ends on a hopeful note, as the friends reaffirm their commitment to one another and vow to support each other through whatever comes next.
