Ep 2. Kill Authority

After surviving the initial confrontation with Night Raid, Tatsumi has been accepted into the group of assassins who operate in the shadows to bring down the corrupt empire. Though he’s still adjusting to the easy camaraderie of his new allies, Tatsumi is eager to prove himself.

The group has received intelligence that a young noble is stirring up trouble in a nearby town. He’s been causing problems for the locals, and his father’s influence has been enough to keep the authorities from taking action. Night Raid sees an opportunity to strike a blow against the corrupt system they’ve sworn to take down.

The team heads undercover to the town, where they quickly discover the true nature of the noble’s ‘problems’ - he’s been abducting women and keeping them in a secret underground chamber. His father, meanwhile, has been bribing the authorities to look the other way.

Night Raid moves in to take the young noble out, but the mission quickly goes awry. The group of assassins is confronted by a powerful Imperial Arms user, a member of the corrupt Jaegers who serve the empire.
