It is a popular British sitcom that is set up in German-occupied France, During World War II. The show revolves around René François Artois, the owner of a small café in the town of Nouvion, France. He finds himself caught up in numerous interesting and often hilarious situations with various characters ranging from German officers to members of the French Resistance.

In the season 3 premiere, titled The Nicked Knockwurst, René is presented with a difficult task. He must procure a large quantity of sausages from a reluctant German officer, Colonel Von Strohm. The client demanding the sausages is none other than the Italian General, who has threatened to implicate the colonel in a corruption scandal if he does not deliver the goods.

René's efforts to get his hands on the sausages lead to some hilarious situations in which he is forced to team up with his staff, his wife, and the Resistance. However, things do not go according to plan, and René finds himself in hot water with both the Germans and the Resistance.

Meanwhile, other characters in the show also have their own problems to deal with. Officer Crabtree, a British spy working undercover as a French gendarme, finds himself in a sticky situation when his cover is blown. The French Resistance, led by Michelle, also has their own plans to thwart the Germans and rescue prisoners of war.

The Nicked Knockwurst is a classic example of the witty humor and clever writing that made Allo' Allo' such a popular show. Viewers can expect plenty of laughter, intrigue, and unexpected twists and turns throughout the episode.
