Ep 7. Uncle Danny

Almost Paradise season 1 episode 7, titled Uncle Danny, introduces a new character to the show. Alex, the former DEA agent, and Ernesto, his friend, meet Danny, who is Alex's uncle. Danny is in Manila to attend a medical conference and Alex takes him under his wing during his stay.

Alex learns that Lukas, who had given him a fake name earlier, is actually an undercover cop who is after a drug dealer in the area. Alex decides to help Lukas with her mission as he had been investigating the same drug dealer, Victor. At the same time, Danny develops some kind of interest in Lukas and keeps flirting and chasing after her.

As Alex and Lukas work together to bring down Victor and his drug operation, Danny continues to hang around them and puts himself in danger. Alex, however, is determined to protect him from the risks. Along the way, Alex and Lukas start to develop feelings for each other, and it becomes clear that they have much in common.

Amidst all these developments, a new challenge arises with the arrival of a hitman who has been hired by Victor to kill Alex and anyone else who gets in his way. Alex and Lukas must work together to stop the hitman before he kills them.
