An Oriental Odyssey Season 1 Episode 11 Episode 11

Li Shao and Qiandu arrive in a town controlled by the Black Spider. They begin to plan their next move to retrieve the map from the spider. Shao and Qiandu intend to seek the help of Lei Jiuzhi but they come to know that Lei Jiuzhi is imprisoned inside the Red Spider’s den.

Meanwhile, Lei Jiuzhi tries to escape his prison but sees no way of escaping it. The den is extremely secure and is filled with dangerous traps. After multiple attempts, he manages to escape the prison only to be caught by the Red Spider.

Li Shao and Qiandu try to find a way to rescue Lei Jiuzhi and retrieve the map. They decide to create a plan by setting up a meeting with the Black Spider. They manage to steal some of the black spider’s venom and use it to create a fake map. They plan to trade the fake map for Lei Jiuzhi’s release.

However, things don’t go as planned and they are caught by the Red Spider before they could meet with the Black Spider. In the Red Spider's clutches, they reveal their plan of exchanging the fake map for Lei Jiuzhi’s release.

The Red Spider agrees with their proposal and frees Lei Jiuzhi from his cell. However, instead of taking the fake map, she takes a tracking device and puts it in Lei Jiuzhi’s pocket. She instructs him to take the fake map and the tracking device to the Black Spider.

The Red Spider’s intention is to take down the Black Spider and she is using Lei Jiuzhi and his friends as her tools. Her intention is to retrieve the real map from the Black Spider. Lei Jiuzhi and his friends visit the Black Spider and exchange the fake map for information on where the real map is located.

Through this process, they discover that the real map has already been taken by the Red Spider and that it was only used as bait to trap the Black Spider. The Red Spider reveals her true intentions and the group is deeply disappointed by her.

After the events of the episode, the group decides to move forward with their own mission to search for the remaining five seals. However, things won’t be easy as they have now made enemies of both the Red Spider and the Black Spider.
