An Oriental Odyssey Season 1 Episode 12 Episode 12

Qin Zhan finally frees himself of the curse, but with the cost of his memories. He becomes a completely different person, forgetting everything and everyone he had ever known. Lian'er is heartbroken seeing the man she loves forget all their memories together and decides to leave. However, Zhao Yao secretly follows her to make sure she is safe.

Meanwhile, Xia Qijing is caught between Qin Zhan and Lian'er's complicated relationship. He shares the news of the curse with his father and they come up with a plan to retrieve Qin Zhan's memories. However, in order for the plan to work, Qin Zhan has to remember his past, which means he'll have to relive the curse once again.

As they journey back to the place where the curse started, they encounter many obstacles along the way. Lian'er and Zhao Yao team up to fight off any danger that comes their way while Xia Qijing and his father prepare to awaken Qin Zhan's memories.

When they finally reach their destination, they find themselves in a familiar and dangerous place. Qin Zhan's memories slowly start to return, but it's not without its consequences. He remembers the pain and suffering he endured, making his heart heavy and full of regret.

Lian'er, seeing the pain in Qin Zhan's eyes, realizes that he truly cannot remember their time together and accepts that they cannot be together. She decides to leave and start anew, but not before sharing a heartfelt goodbye with Xia Qijing.

As they part ways, Qin Zhan is left with his memories intact, but the weight of his past lingering in his heart. Xia Qijing, who has grown to care for both Qin Zhan and Lian'er, is left to ponder over the bittersweet ending and what the future holds for them all.
