Ep 3. My Song

Otonashi and the others are still trying to figure out their situation in the afterlife. After participating in a baseball game against the Angel's team, the SSS decides to hold a concert to spread their message to students who will soon arrive in the afterlife. The concert is headed by Iwasawa, one of the SSS members, who wants to perform her original song "My Song."

As Iwasawa practices and prepares for the concert, the other members of SSS work together to create a makeshift stage and sound system. However, during the concert, Angel appears and tries to shut them down. Iwasawa is determined to finish her song and decides to face off against Angel. The two engage in a musical battle, with Iwasawa pouring her heart into her performance.

During the concert, Otonashi learns more about Iwasawa's past. Iwasawa was a musician in the real world, but her talent was constantly overshadowed by her abusive father. She eventually ran away from home and started living on the streets. It was then that she discovered her love of music and began writing her own songs.

As Iwasawa sings "My Song," the other members of the SSS reflect on their own lives and the moments that led them to the afterlife. After her performance, Iwasawa disappears, having found peace with her past and moving on from the afterlife.

The episode ends with the realization that each member of the SSS has a unique goal they want to accomplish before moving on from the afterlife. With Iwasawa's passing, they are reminded to cherish the time they have and to make each day count.
