Are You Being Served? Season 2 Episode 3 The Think Tank

The classic British sitcom, Are You Being Served?, follows the outrageous and hilarious antics of the staff at the Grace Brothers Department Store. In season 2, episode 3 titled "The Think Tank," the staff prepare for a crucial meeting with the store's management.

Mr. Rumbold, the store manager, has tasked the staff with coming up with innovative ideas to improve sales and customer experience. To accomplish this, he has formed a "think tank" consisting of the most intelligent and creative members of the staff.

The think tank includes Mr. Grainger, the elderly and somewhat senile head of the men's department, Miss Brahms, the sassy and flirtatious junior sales assistant, Mr. Lucas, the lazy and cheeky menswear salesman, and Mr. Humphries, the flamboyant and quick-witted salesman in the ladies' department.

The group struggles to come up with any worthwhile ideas as they bicker and argue with one another. Meanwhile, Mr. Rumbold grows increasingly impatient with their lack of progress and threatens to cut the think tank altogether.

With their jobs on the line, the staff finally buckle down and come up with a potentially groundbreaking idea. However, they soon realize that their idea may have some unforeseen consequences and must scramble to come up with a backup plan.

Throughout the episode, the staff also deal with various customers including a demanding couple looking for the perfect wedding gift, an eccentric woman in search of the perfect hat, and a wealthy man with a particular penchant for the color purple.
