Ep 3. Everyone Gets Atrophy

In Arrested Development season 5 episode 3, entitled Everyone Gets Atrophy, the Bluth family continues to face their fair share of challenges as they try to navigate both their individual and collective problems. Many of the characters are dealing with the physical and emotional signs of aging, with some experiencing atrophy in various parts of their bodies.

Michael continues to struggle with trying to keep the Bluth family business afloat, and tries to make amends with George Michael after their awkward confrontation at the end of the last episode. Meanwhile, Lucille is feeling the effects of advancing age, both physically and mentally, and is trying to cling to her former glory days as a socialite.

Gob is still working as a stage magician, but ends up being humiliated in front of a large crowd after one of his tricks doesn't go as planned. He's also dealing with the realization that he may have fathered a child with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Tony Wonder.

Buster, still dealing with the aftermath of Lucille 2's disappearance, becomes obsessed with a mobile game on his phone, while Tobias and Lindsay are still struggling to navigate their complicated relationship, and Tobias is struggling with his own personal health issues.

As usual, the dysfunctional Bluth family provides plenty of laughs as they try to navigate their way through life, with each other's help – or hindrance. The episode is filled with the usual witty banter, ridiculous situations, and running gags that have made the show a popular cult hit.

Despite their many shortcomings, the Bluth family continues to persevere, relying on their unconventional methods and unique outlook on life to get them through each new challenge. The episode ultimately shows that while everyone may experience atrophy in some form or another, they can still find ways to adapt and grow – even if it means taking a few hilarious missteps along the way.
