Ep 5. A Gift for Graham

A Gift for Graham is the fifth episode of the sixth season of the popular DIY network show Barnwood Builders. It follows the team of builders as they take on a special project for their friend and fellow craftsman, Graham Ferguson.

They're able to gather some beautiful old barnwood planks, as well as a custom-made metal frame that will support the glass top.

Back at the job site, the team gets to work building the table. They start by cutting and sanding the barnwood planks to size, then piecing them together using traditional joinery techniques. They use their signature peg-and-hole method to secure the planks, which gives the table a rustic, handmade feel.

Next, they turn their attention to the metal frame. This is a bit trickier, as it requires a lot of precise measuring and welding. But the team is up to the challenge, and they're able to create a sturdy base for the table that perfectly fits the glass top.

With the frame and top complete, the team carefully sets the glass in place and attaches it to the base. The finished product is stunning--a beautiful blend of old and new, rustic and modern.

But there's one final challenge: the team has to get the table to Graham in New York City in time for the showcase. They carefully load it onto their truck and set off on a road trip to the Big Apple. Along the way, they make a few stops to admire some of the historic buildings and landmarks in the cities they pass through.

Finally, they arrive in New York City and deliver the table to Graham, who is blown away by their creation. He's thrilled to have such a beautiful piece to showcase at the event, and he thanks the Barnwood Builders for their hard work and dedication.
