Ep 6. Tiny Craftsman

Tom and his wife, Jennifer, have plenty of work to do on the latest episode of Big Texas Fix. In "Tiny Craftsman," the couple takes on what seems like a small project- restoring an old craftsman style house- but quickly discover the immense amount of work required to get the job done.

The house, which was badly damaged by a small fire, initially appears to be a small fixer-upper. However, when Tom and Jennifer take a closer look, they realize that the damage is far worse than they initially thought. The fire damage extends far beyond the exterior of the property, and the roof and walls are in poor condition as well. The couple is left with a daunting task, but they're determined to restore the craftsman style home to its former glory.

First, Tom and Jennifer assess the damage and come up with a plan for the restoration. They also decide to add a few updates to the interior, including a new kitchen and bathroom. Tom puts his carpentry skills to the test as he builds new cabinetry and installs new appliances, while Jennifer expertly designed a new color scheme for the home.

The couple also sources vintage materials to create a rustic, farmhouse-style look. They search far and wide for the perfect vintage tile and antique wooden pieces to create a cozy atmosphere inside the home. The attention to detail pays off as the house begins to take shape and Tom and Jennifer are pleased with the progress they've made.

In addition to the interior, the couple also puts plenty of work into the landscape surrounding the home. They create garden beds and add new trees, shrubs, and flowers to enhance the curb appeal of the house. They also install new fencing to create privacy for the family who will eventually move in.
