Big Time Rush, Living It Big Time! is an American television sitcom that premiered on Nickelodeon in November 2009. The show follows four Minnesota hockey players named Kendall Knight (Kendall Schmidt), James Diamond (James Maslow), Carlos Garcia (Carlos Pena Jr.), and Logan Mitchell (Logan Henderson) as they embark on their journey to become a successful boyband in Los Angeles.
Season 1 episode 1, titled "Big Time Fever", begins with the four boys receiving the opportunity to audition for a record deal with famous producer Gustavo Rocque (Stephen Kramer Glickman) in Los Angeles. After a failed attempt at the audition, the boys decide to take matters into their own hands and sneak into Rocque Records to play their music for Rocque himself.
Impressed with their unique sound, Rocque offers to sign the boys on the spot, but only if they are willing to move to Los Angeles and become the next big thing in the music industry. Without any hesitation, the boys accept the offer and set off on their journey to stardom.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, the boys quickly realize that the music business is not all they thought it would be. They are assigned a strict and demanding new manager named Kelly (Tanya Chisholm) who puts them through rigorous vocal and dance training in preparation for their debut single.
As the boys struggle to keep up with the demands of their new music career, they also face the challenges of living together in a luxury apartment complex called the Palm Woods. Along with their new neighbors, including a young actress named Jo (Katelyn Tarver) and a washed-up former pop star named Lucy (Malese Jow), the boys navigate their way through the ups and downs of newfound fame.
Throughout the episode, the boys are hit with a sudden case of "Big Time Fever" as they prepare for their first live show at a local amusement park. As they nervously rehearse their dance moves and practice their vocals, they start to feel the pressure of the music industry weighing heavily on their shoulders.
Despite the challenges they face, the boys are determined to make it as the next big boyband and are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. Will they be able to rise to the occasion and prove to their fans and critics that they have what it takes to become a chart-topping success?
