Ep 10. Good for Nothing

Black Jesus is a television series that premiered on Adult Swim in 2014. Created by Aaron McGruder and Mike Clattenburg, the show follows the life of Jesus Christ, who is reincarnated in present-day Compton, California. The show is a mix of comedy, satire, and drama, and explores themes of faith, racial inequality, and social justice.

In season 2, episode 10, titled "Good for Nothing," the residents of Compton are still reeling from the aftermath of the shooting that killed Lloyd. With Vic's gang on the loose, tensions are high in the community. Jesus is struggling to keep the peace, and feels responsible for the chaos that has erupted.

Meanwhile, Boonie is still dealing with the fallout from his relationship with a transgender woman. He is kicked out of the church and ostracized by his friends, leaving him feeling alone and hopeless.

In an effort to find a way to help Boonie, Jesus turns to his father, who is a wealthy businessman. He asks for his father's help in setting up a foundation that can provide support for people in the community who are struggling with similar issues. His father agrees to help, but only on the condition that Jesus keep his involvement a secret.

As the foundation begins to take shape, tensions continue to rise in the community. Vic's gang becomes more brazen, and the police seem powerless to stop them. Jesus and his followers are caught in the middle, and must find a way to keep the peace while also protecting themselves.

As the episode comes to a close, the foundation is up and running, and Boonie begins to see a glimmer of hope. However, there is still much work to be done to heal the wounds that have been inflicted on the community. Jesus is left to ponder the challenges that lie ahead, and the role he must play in bringing about change.
