In the season 1 finale of Black Monday, we see the aftermath of the historic stock market crash of 1987. With everyone scrambling to pick up the pieces of their financial futures, Mo and Blair find themselves at odds once again, this time over how to handle the fallout from their risky trading strategies.
Meanwhile, Dawn is forced to confront the consequences of her actions when she discovers that her deal with the devil – aka Wayne – may have put her in even greater danger than she realized. As she tries to figure out a way to protect herself and her newfound fortune, she leans on the only friend she has left: Keith.
As the clock ticks down to a pivotal moment in Black Monday history, our characters are faced with a stark choice: keep pushing forward at all costs, or admit defeat and start anew. But as we've learned throughout this rollercoaster of a season, nothing is ever as simple as it seems – and the stakes are higher than ever before. Will our heroes come out on top, or will they be brought down by their own greed and ambition?
The tension reaches a fever pitch as we see Mo, Blair and Dawn grappling with their own demons while also trying to navigate the cutthroat world of finance. And as the proverbial clock ticks down to zero, we're left wondering what the future holds for these flawed but fascinating characters.
Filled with witty dialogue, sharp satire, and a killer '80s soundtrack, Black Monday has been a wild ride from start to finish. And with the promise of more twists and turns to come in future seasons, we can't wait to see where this show takes us next.
