The episode begins with a playful boxer named Riley who has a foreign body stuck in his throat. After taking an X-ray, Dr. Chris discovers a piece of clothing blocking the dog's airway. In a race against time, the team has to act quickly to remove the obstruction and save Riley's life.

Next up is a giant rabbit named Ralph who is brought in with a persistent cough. As the team investigates, they discover that Ralph's living conditions are subpar, causing him to have chronic respiratory issues. Dr. Chris educates Ralph's owner on proper rabbit care and prescribes antibiotics to help alleviate his symptoms.

The team then receives a call about a dingo with a huge lump on his back. Upon examination, Dr. Chris diagnoses the dingo with a sebaceous cyst which needs to be surgically removed. The surgery is a success, and the dingo is on the road to recovery.

In the following segment, Dr Chris is called out to a wildlife reserve to assess an injured echidna. The team discovers that the spiky mammal has a severe eye infection, which is causing it a great deal of discomfort. The team steps in to clean and treat the animal's eye, giving it much-needed relief.

In the final segment of the show, Dr. Chris attends to a much smaller creature, a green tree frog with a fractured leg. The amphibian's injury is the result of an unfortunate run-in with a cat. Dr. Chris gently places the frog's leg in a cast, and it's not long before the frog is well enough to be released back into the wild.

Throughout the episode, viewers get an inside look at the expert care and compassion provided by Dr. Chris and his team towards each unique animal they encounter.
