Ep 6. Eric and Leslie

Eric and Leslie are a hardworking couple who have been saving for their dream house for years. But even with a solid budget of $650,000, they can't seem to find the perfect home in their desired area of Nashville. That's where Buying It Blind comes in - trusting complete strangers to find and renovate their new home without ever seeing it.

They meet with the team of experts - real estate agent Anna Kilinski, contractor Jen Metzger, and designer Michel Smith Boyd - and give them their must-haves: a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house in a good school district with a large yard for their two young kids to play in.

The team has a few options for them to choose from but ultimately, Eric and Leslie trust them enough to choose on their behalf. They are blindfolded and taken to their new home for the first time - a completely renovated and transformed ranch-style house that checks all the boxes on their wishlist. Although they are initially hesitant about the open floor plan and modern design, they eventually fall in love with it, especially the kitchen and master bedroom.

But there's one major, unexpected issue - their new home doesn't have a garage for Eric's beloved motorcycle. Cue Michel, who comes up with a creative solution to build a custom garage inside the house.

Jen and her team had a few hiccups during the renovation process, from plumbing issues to incorrect materials being delivered. But they worked tirelessly to fix each problem, and the end result is a beautiful, functional home that Eric and Leslie absolutely adore.

Although there were some nerve-wracking moments throughout the process - like when the renovation was incomplete just hours before the big reveal - Eric and Leslie are beyond thrilled with their new home. They never would have imagined that trusting complete strangers with one of the biggest purchases of their lives would pay off so well, but Buying It Blind proves that sometimes, it's worth taking a leap of faith.
