Byron is outgoing and loves life in Nashville, Tennessee, but he has a secret. Byron served in the military and was honorably discharged years ago, but he has hit some rough times and is now a homeless veteran. Most nights he sleeps by a river or in his car. Byron was diagnosed with PTSD and feels it affects every aspect of his life. Before he became homeless, Byron was living a very fast and unhealthy lifestyle in Miami. Eventually this caught up with him and he could no longer handle that way of life. Byron decided to leave everything behind and soon found himself without a place to live. He hasn't spoken to his mother since he's been homeless, and basically cut himself off from everyone else in his life. Byron knows that to get his life back on track, he needs to tell his secret to his mother and begin to mend the relationships in his life.
