Aviation has gripped the hearts of humanity for nearly a hundred years. Many dream of an exiting career in the airline industry that will take them up in the skies like on wings of eagles and they do not spend one second of their precious time thinking about a possible disaster that could end their life. The adventure and dream of conquering the skies and flying through the clouds makes us forget what lies beneath and what could happen if a mistake or mechanical failure happens.

We pray that a horrible disaster in the sky never becomes a reality to us but way back in our minds we are always aware that it is a long way down back to earth. We understand that sure death awaits us if we crash. We may grip our armrest just a little harder and tighten the seat belt at the thought of such a terrifying experience.

The Air Disaster show reminds us of what aviation accidents can bring. Terrifying scenes of exploding engines, crashes that make us have nightmares for months and yet survival stories that inspire us forever visit us right in the comfort of our homes. Catastrophes like airline crashes leave death and destruction in their path but often miraculous survival stories help us to remain hopeful that we too could make it through such a horrible experience.

Shows like this are a reminder of what could happen and interesting investigations of the possible causes educate us. The stories that are told are horrifying but they are also a reminder of why we should listen to the airline personnel understand the safety precautions and know where how to use the provided emergency equipment. This should encourage us to look for the emergency exits and always be willing to help our fellow travelers.

The Airplane is a magnificent invention and used in daily travel in modern society. This wonder of technology is nearly perfect but from time to time even the nearly perfect machine will malfunction or become a victim of human error. Air disasters does not only show the possible tragedies but also the possible survival and the bravery of the human spirit!
