In this episode of Card Sharks, hosted by Joel McHale, two contestants compete to win big cash prizes by predicting whether the next card drawn from a deck will be higher or lower than the previous card.

First, we meet Darrell, a retired firefighter from Georgia who is hoping to win enough money to take his family on a vacation to Hawaii. He faces off against Karen, a public health researcher from Connecticut who dreams of using her winnings to pay off her student loans.

In the first round, Joel presents a base card and asks the contestants to predict whether the next card will be higher or lower. The contestant who guesses correctly gets to continue guessing until they make a mistake or decide to freeze their position. After three rounds, the contestant with the highest total score goes on to the bonus round.

Throughout the game, Joel keeps the audience entertained with his quick wit and hilarious commentary. He also teases the contestants by asking them personal questions and making jokes at their expense.

In the bonus round, the winning contestant has a chance to win even more money by correctly guessing the order of seven cards. If they succeed, they can win up to $64,000. But if they make a mistake, they lose everything.

As the tension builds, Darrell and Karen each take turns guessing which cards will come next. The audience cheers them on as they come closer and closer to the jackpot. But with so much on the line, every card counts.

In the end, only one contestant walks away with the cash prize. Will it be Darrell, the retired firefighter with a heart of gold? Or will Karen, the determined public health researcher, come out on top? Tune in to find out!
