Jeon Seol ends up visiting a shaman, who tells her that the reason why Han Se-joo and she were reincarnated together is because they have a karmic debt to one another. The shaman also warns her that they will face many obstacles in their quest to uncover the truth about their past lives, and advises her to be strong and patient.

Back at Han Se-joo's house, Yoo Jin-oh manages to sneak in undetected and warns Han Se-joo about the danger he is in. He tells Han Se-joo that Baek Tae-min is planning to kill him and take over his new book, which has become a bestseller. Han Se-joo is shocked by this news, but Yoo Jin-oh assures him that he will do everything in his power to protect him.

The episode ends with Han Se-joo, Jeon Seol, and Yoo Jin-oh working together to come up with a plan to thwart Baek Tae-min's evil scheme. They know that they have to act fast, or else Han Se-joo's life could be in danger. As they strategize, they also continue to grapple with the complexities of their past lives and the impact it has on their present-day relationships.
