Finally, the fourth and final story, "Priyo Bhai," examines the bonds between brothers. It centers around two siblings, played by Ankita Chakrabarti and Arpan Ghosh, who are very close despite their very different personalities. When one brother falls in love with a woman who is disapproved of by their family, the other must decide whether to support his brother or side with their parents.

Throughout each of these stories, the idea of silence is explored in different ways. Whether it is the silence that falls between a couple whose communication has broken down, the silence of a young girl who is struggling with trauma, or the silence that accompanies taboo desires, all four of these tales share a sense of tension and unease that is heightened by the use of silence.

The acting in Chupkotha 2 is uniformly excellent. Parno Mittra brings a sense of quiet desperation to her role in "Bedroom," while Mahi Singh is captivating as the enigmatic Manika in "Canteen." Sudip Mukherjee brings a sense of warmth and compassion to his role as the teacher in "Classroom," and the chemistry between Ankita Chakrabarti and Arpan Ghosh is palpable in "Priyo Bhai."
