Ep 9. #SinceWeBeinHonest

In the ninth episode of Degrassi: Next Class season 1, titled #SinceWeBeinHonest, secrets and truths come to light as the students of Degrassi Community School face the consequences of their actions.

Miles and Tristan's relationship is put to the test when Miles discovers that Tristan cheated on him with Vijay. As Miles struggles with his anger and betrayal, he seeks advice from his father, who gives him some tough love.

Meanwhile, Zoe's past catches up with her when her best friend Grace discovers a video of Zoe performing at a birthday party in revealing clothing. Zoe is mortified and fears that her reputation will be ruined. She turns to her mother for comfort, but her mother's advice only makes things worse.

Elsewhere, Maya and Zig's relationship hits a roadblock when they both audition for the same band. Maya is upset when she doesn't get the part, but Zig tries to make her feel better by promising to help her start her own band.

Finally, Shay struggles with her feelings for Tiny, who is still dating Lola. She confides in her friends, but they only make things more confusing. When Tiny surprises Shay with a romantic gesture, she must decide whether to pursue her feelings or respect Tiny's relationship.
