In Detention season 1 episode 11, titled "Boyz 'N The Parenthood," the students of Greenwood High find themselves embroiled in a battle of the sexes. When a group of boys decide to confront their female classmates about their perceived unfair treatment at school, tensions rise and lines are drawn. As the two sides face off, the adults in their lives are forced to confront their own biases and assumptions about gender roles.

The episode opens with a group of boys sitting in detention, griping about how unfair their treatment at school is. They feel like they're always being punished for things that their female classmates get away with. When one of the boys suggests that they stage a protest, the others are hesitant at first, but eventually come around to the idea.

The next day, the boys show up to school wearing T-shirts that read "Boyz Rule" and carrying signs that demand fair treatment. They make their way through the halls, shouting and chanting, and are quickly joined by other male students who share their frustrations.

The girls of Greenwood High are not impressed. They see the boys' protest as an attack on their rights and freedoms, and they're not going to take it lying down. They organize a counter-protest, gathering in the courtyard with signs that read "We're All Equal" and "Girls Run The World."

As tensions mount between the two groups, the adults in their lives start to take notice. Teachers and administrators are forced to grapple with their own biases and assumptions about gender roles, and some of them start to see the value in the students' protests.

Meanwhile, the students themselves are struggling to navigate their newfound activism. The boys realize that their protest was poorly thought-out, and that they haven't really considered the full implications of what they're asking for. The girls, too, start to realize that their anger towards the boys is more about their larger frustrations with the ways in which they're treated by society as a whole.

Throughout the episode, there are moments of humor and heartbreak. The students learn valuable lessons about the power of collective action and the importance of listening to people whose experiences are different from their own.

By the end of the episode, the two groups have come together for a frank discussion about their feelings and aspirations for equal treatment. While they don't necessarily come to a perfect understanding, they do realize that they have more in common than they thought. The future of Greenwood High remains uncertain, but it's clear that the students are more aware of their own power to effect change than ever before.
