Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest has been a beloved tradition for over four decades. The show airs on ABC on December 31st, kicking off the new year with live performances and counting down to the ball drop in Times Square. As always, the show is hosted by Ryan Seacrest, who will be counting down to midnight alongside some of the music industry's biggest names.

Part 1 of the 2020 show is set to be an exciting one, with performances from top artists in both New York City and Los Angeles. From New York's Times Square, Seacrest will be joined by co-hosts Lucy Hale and Billy Porter. Hale, known for her roles on shows like Pretty Little Liars and Katy Keene, will be making her debut as a co-host on the show. Porter, a Tony and Emmy award-winning actor, is best known for his role on the hit show Pose.

The New York performances are set to feature some of the biggest names in music. Post Malone, who has dominated the charts over the past few years with hits like "Sunflower" and "Circles," will be taking the stage. Other performers include country star Sam Hunt, K-pop group BTS, and singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette. In addition to these acts, there will also be a special performance from the cast of Broadway's Jagged Little Pill, which is based on Morissette's hit album.

In Los Angeles, Seacrest will be joined by co-host Ciara. The Grammy-winning artist is known for hits like "Goodies" and "Level Up," and has been a part of the show in recent years. The Los Angeles performances will include some of the biggest names in pop music, including Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lewis Capaldi. In addition to these performers, there will also be a special tribute to the late rapper Nipsey Hussle.

As always, the show's main event will be the ball drop in Times Square. Millions of people tune in each year to watch the iconic moment as the ball drops to mark the start of the new year. This year's ball is set to feature over 32,000 LED lights and come in at a weight of almost 12,000 pounds. The ball has been a tradition since 1907, and has been dropped in Times Square every year since then, aside from two years during World War II.

In addition to the performances and the ball drop, the show will also feature celebrity interviews and highlights from some of the year's biggest moments. As always, there will be plenty of surprises throughout the night to keep viewers entertained. The show is set to air from 8pm to 2am EST, and is the perfect way to ring in the new year with friends and family all over the country.
