Ep 1. The Woman Who Fell to Earth

After a yearlong hiatus, Doctor Who returns for its 11th season with an exciting new adventure. The Woman Who Fell to Earth is the first episode of the 13-episode run, and it introduces audiences to the eleventh incarnation of The Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker.

This new regeneration has erased their memories and left them stranded on Earth, where they begin their journey to reclaim the TARDIS, their time and space-traveling ship.

As the episode progresses, the plotlines begin to intertwine, and The Doctor meets Ryan, Yasmin, and Graham in different ways. She quickly realizes that they are all involved in the same event and joins forces with the group to solve the mystery surrounding the object.

As the team begins to piece together clues, they discover that the object is not of this world and that an alien warrior named Tzim-Sha (Samuel Oatley) has been sent to Earth on a mission of lethal intent. The Doctor and her companions must unravel Tzim-Sha's true objective and stop his destruction before it’s too late.

The episode is action-packed and fast-paced, with a sharp rise in tension towards the end of the episode. Jodie Whittaker shines as The Doctor, bringing a refreshing energy to the role. Her interactions with Ryan, Yasmin, and Graham are particularly delightful, and their chemistry is sure to be one of the highlights of the new season.
