The Doctor Who season 4 episode 19, the End of Time Part 2, begins with the Doctor held captive in the Time Lords' time lock, while the Master has taken over the world with the Toclafane. As the Master initiates a plan to turn every human being into a clone of himself, the Doctor desperately searches for a way to stop him.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Wilfred Mott, one of the Doctor's human companions, is trapped in a radiation chamber that is about to explode. The Doctor realizes that Wilfred's death is one of the events that lead to his own death, and decides to sacrifice himself to save Wilfred's life. He emerges from the time lock just in time to use his regeneration energy to absorb the radiation and save Wilfred.

As the Doctor begins to regenerate into a new form, the Master's plan is foiled by the arrival of the Time Lords, who want to destroy all of creation to end their own suffering. The Doctor pleads with them to reconsider, but they refuse, forcing him to use his TARDIS to transport them to a pocket universe where they can live out their lives without harming the rest of the universe.

However, the strain of the Doctor's actions is too much for his current form, and he collapses. As his companions watch in horror, the Doctor regenerates into a new form, portrayed by actor Matt Smith, signaling the beginning of a new era for the show.

The End of Time Part 2 is a thrilling conclusion to season 4, full of action, emotion, and high stakes. The episode features some of the show's most iconic characters and storylines, and sets the stage for the next phase of the show's development. Fans of Doctor Who will not want to miss this exciting installment.
