Ep 9. Forest of the Dead

The Doctor takes Donna Noble to a luxurious planet that is completely automated, and the perfect place for a vacation. However, upon arrival, they discover that the entire planet is covered in a vast forest which is inhabited by the Vashta Nerada, microscopic organisms that live in the shadows and possess the ability to strip a living being to bones in seconds. Along with a group of strangers, the Doctor and Donna find themselves being hunted through the forest, and they must use all their intelligence and wit to survive. Meanwhile, the remainder of their team is trapped inside a computer simulation, and only the Doctor and Donna can save them. As the story unfolds, secrets are revealed, and the true power of the Vashta Nerada is made clear.
