Ep 2. Day of the Moon

The Doctor, Amy, and Rory are on the run from the government after the events of the previous episode. They manage to escape capture and find themselves in the midst of the 1960s American Deep South. The trio soon discovers that they are not alone as they come across former companions River Song and Canton Everett Delaware III.

Together, the group attempts to uncover a sinister plot by the shape-shifting aliens known as the Silence. These aliens have been manipulating humanity for centuries and are planning to take over the world. The Silence can only be observed while they are being looked at, but as soon as one turns away, they forget about their existence.

The team finds themselves fighting against an army of brainwashed people under the control of the Silence. As they try to evade the danger, they also attempt to figure out a way to stop the invasion and put a halt to the Silent's schemes. Along the way they run into Ancient technology that has been lost to civilization.

The episode is full of action and suspense, with the team racing against time to stop the Silence before it's too late. Day of the Moon showcases the fantastic chemistry between the characters, with plenty of witty dialogue and banter. The main storyline is intertwined with the ongoing arc of the Silence and the mystery surrounding River Song's identity.
